Mr. Viktor Meures

Founder of Glas- und Gebäudereinigung Meures GmbH

A trained baker from Trier, he had an accident that prevented him from continuing to work in the heat of the bakery. So he looked for a job that he could do in the fresh air.But even in the 1950s, this was not so easy. Finally, Viktor Meures found a job: he trained as a window cleaner. He moved to Wiesbaden with his small family.

The first company car and new business areas

In 1955, he started his own business and went to his customers with a ladder, bucket and cleaning equipment to clean their glass.

Thanks to his hard work, he soon managed to buy his own small car .

In this way, other cleaning jobs could be carried out after a short time, initially with a focus on post-construction cleaning .

Over time, the scope of the business grew and Viktor Meures was able to employ a number of window cleaners and staff in maintenance and special cleaning.

Success allowed the company to grow quickly

The company grew steadily. In 1962, Viktor Meures passed his master craftsman examination .

Ten years later, his son-in-law Klaus Volz, who was initially not familiar with the industry, started working in building cleaning to support the family business.

In 1982 , Klaus Volz also passed the master craftsman examination for the building cleaning trade and initially managed the company’s fortunes as an authorized officer and managing director.

He qualified as a business economist in 1986 .

Daughter and son-in-law took over management

Reinforcement was added

Thomas Bansemir has been part of the company since January 1, 2001 and was appointed Managing Director in autumn 2006 after successfully completing his state-certified business administration exam.

2006: Founding of Meures Industriereinigung GmbH.

2008: Thomas Bansemir passed his master craftsman examination as a glass and building cleaner.

since 2012: Company was taken over by Thomas Bansemir.
